Originally from Norman, Oklahoma, Reid Powell earned his B.A. in Political Science from Oklahoma City University in 2022, where he served two terms as Student Body President. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2025.

At OU Law, Reid was a Dean’s Leadership Fellow, Director on the Board of Advocates, and Student Mentor in the Office of Admissions. He competed on three moot court teams, including the American College of Trial Lawyers and New York City Bar Association’s National Moot Court Competition. Reid was inducted into the Order of Barristers for his excellence in advocacy.

Reid joined Dewberry & Hubbard in 2025 and focuses his practice on medical malpractice and insurance defense litigation. He is dedicated to building strong relationships with his clients, while delivering effective, results-oriented counsel. Outside of the practice, Reid is actively involved in the Oklahoma City community.
